The Senior A Ensemble is LUA’s “Premier Youth Ukulele Performing Group.

In past years, the Senior A Ensemble has toured throughout Canada, the USA and to International destinations gaining worldwide recognition and acclaim. As such, they often are invited to prestigious festivals, locations and venues, including Hawaii and Los Angeles.

Travel and Accommodations costs have increased significantly, over the past few years, impacting their ability to attend those destination events. The Group is more reliant on artist fees, grants, donations and sponsors than ever before to reduce their personal expenditures for performing.

We are seeking your generous support for this cause.

LUA’S  PROGRAMS  AND  ENSEMBLES

LUA provides world class instructions in music, voice, and ukulele to approximately 100 children and youth in the Surrey/Langley/Aldergrove/South Surrey/ North Vancouver area. Students learn new skills though songs arranged by their directors at scheduled practices. Students then perform for various groups across Canada and the US, including public celebratory events, senior homes and community organizations. The students/parents/community members volunteer their time to ensure the success of each performance and most importantly, to deliver the LUA mission statement: enrich lives through music.
